- Jogging...
-
It so nice (when I have the energy to do it) to jog on the neighborhood streets. I can listen to all the small signals of life awakening, look down empty streets, watch the clouds rush overhead.
One morning "encounter" makes me laugh every time: As I run past a first floor window, every morning, I hear the persistent sound of an alarm clock trying to shake its owner from more enjoyable travels. I run past once... I run past twice... no, that dreamer has not bothered to quiet the loud beep. Is it a car in his nightmare of traffic? Is it a bomb about to explode in a spy adventure?

I have seen this house for many years: It is decorated by crosses bearing the names of famous people who have died. There is one for Marylin Monroe, one for Elvis, one for Pope John Paul II, etc.
It is so funny. It's like a shrine. I wonder if it's for fun or... obsession.

This building, tired is getting ready to return to dust...
